Bookish News: 20 February 2017

Does anyone else get as excited as me to get *newly* released books?! They’re so pretty and shiny – and the noise the spine makes when you crack it open, blissful. Really. Anyway, you know what a new week means – NEW BOOKS. I always like to admire them from afar (and upclose. In my hands).

This week’s releases:

  • Against All Silence by E. C. Meyers / Goodreads
  • Beautiful Broken Girls by Kim Savage / Goodreads
  • Dreamland Burning by Jennifer Latham / Goodreads
  • Everything Beautiful is Not Ruined by Danielle Younge-Ullman / Goodreads
  • How Not to Disappear by Clare Furniss / Goodreads
  • Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas / Goodreads
  • Optimists Die First by Susin Nielsen / Goodreads
  • Ronit & Jamil by Pamela L. Laskin / Goodreads
  • The Dragon’s Price by Bethany Wiggins / Goodreads
  • The Education of Margot Sanchez by Lilliam Rivera / Goodreads
  • A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab / Goodreads

ICYMI Here’s some things that happened last week:

  • Everything Everything‘s trailer dropped

The Everything Everything movie trailer was released this week! The movie stars Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson as Madeline and Olly. It’s set to be in theaters on May 9, 2017. This is a movie adaption of Nicola Yoon’s 2015 debut that has been raved over since its release. On Valentine’s Day, EpicReads launched the trailer officially.

  • HarperTeen a.k.a. EpicReads released their fall covers

I don’t know about you but I am in love with pretty covers. They get me almost every time, and cover reveals are some of my favorite things to read about. HarperTeen just released all of their fall covers. This includes books like They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, Release by Patrick Ness, and One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake. This isn’t a comprehensive list of those that need covers, but it’s pretty darn close. Here’s the link to all of them.

Happy reading,
